just say you have a serious financial problem that's taking up all your time and attention.
then ask for a loan to help with the problem. a few hundred to start with. i'm sure the elders will concentrate their shepherding efforts on some other soul.

How to evade questions from elders when you stop going out door to door

have you tried talking it over with her--without reference to the cult / god / religion etc
ask your wife if she still wants sex--if so--with you---without strings attatched . ask her to be totally upfront and honest with you.
if she doesent want it / you any more---ask her for a free pass.

Knowing good and bad and being judged for it...
by purrpurr inthe belief is that god created the tree of the knowledge of good and bad right?
but then forbid adam and eve to eat from it because if they did they would understand good and bad.... the belief also is that either at death or armageddon we will be judged as to whether we have been good or bad.... so it seems that god did not want humans to have the knowledge of how to be good or bad in the first place but still wants to judge them on it?!?.
i always thought when reading that part of the bible " what would have been so wrong for humans to have that knowledge in the beginning?

For Those of You Who Still Serve... How Do You Do It?

i'm slowly... slowly working on my wife (i call her mrs. hardcore) and even my m-i-l (who taught my wife how to be hardcore).
making some amazing progress... they are still hardcore... but unrecognizable from a couple years ago!.

what a nightmare. when i was a pio / servant --50 years ago----i hated door knocking--and used to fake it---but i believed the crap back then. how on earth anyone can be an elder--and door knock---once they have woken up just beats me. -
